Jason Farley joined Leaders Moving & Storage in 1997 and has held nearly every role the company has to offer. He started as a mover, pitching in on office work between jobs, then moved into sales. Shifting to the operations side of the business, he rose from assistant manager to manager and later became director for the company’s Midwest territory. He was named Chief Operating Officer in 2020.
As COO, Jason oversees strategic planning and day-to-day management for the company from its Columbus headquarters. His responsibilities cover fleet and safety management, regulatory compliance, risk management, and business acquisitions. He also directs financial operations, including carrier coordination, liability management, and accounts payable and receivable. A big part of his job is developing the people who lead Leaders, through senior-level hiring and one-on-one coaching. He holds every department to a high standard of accountability and expects them to work as one team.
Outside the office, he’s an avid outdoorsman. He and Gina, his wife of 34 years, have three kids and five grandchildren. Family comes first for him, with service and integrity close behind, and those priorities shape how he leads at Leaders.
